First Date
Jason moves to Ann Arbor with just his car and the clothes on his back. The very next day Jason and Amy go on their first date. After lunch at Mongolian BBQ (where Jason impresses Amy by maximizing the amount of steak and shrimp he can fit into his rice bowl), Jason being oddly pragmatic, recruits Amy to spend the day with him shopping for furniture, appliances, food, linens, etc. Amy gets drunk on shopping for four hours straight, and accidentally attributes this to love at first sight. Jason does not mind.

Jason not understanding the difference between dating and being in a relationship, never formally asks Amy to be his girlfriend. Amy holds a meeting to bring this slight oversight to the attention of the Board of Trustees. The Board ratifies the relationship action and the Facebook profiles are updated at once.

Moving in together in DC
Jason gets an exciting job offer at a startup called Mandiant but requires relocation to Alexandria, Virigina. Amy, with a Masters in Public Administration, is required to make a ceremonial pilgrimage to her holy land of Washington, D.C. Amy joins Jason and they settle in together in a cozy apartment nestled in the sleepy Old Town neighborhood of Alexandria, Virigina.

Belly (birth-name: Dante) Arrives
Belly, a particularly handsome one year old Tuxedo cat, picks out two humans, Jason & Amy, at the Alexandria Animal Welfare League during a visit. After thoroughly infecting Amy with Toxoplasmosis, her brain is rewired to love Belly slightly more than Jason. Jason, also riddled with Toxoplasmosis, does not mind.

Amy and Jason go on many exciting trips like Disney World, and then a Disney Cruise, Disney World again, and then Disney Land, and then...well you get the idea...

The Proposal
Jason in the ultimate romantic gesture proposes to Amy when exchanging presents before Christmas. Jason surprises Amy with a beautiful diamond ring with the "Pavlov(sic) sparkly band". Amy, cries and says, "Yes". Jason is then sent to his room for a year while Amy plans the Wedding. Jason does not mind.
